The Straits Times Index ended 16.95 or 0.66% lower at 2,542.08. The top active stocks were Medtecs International, which jumped 9.86%, Wilmar International, which rose 0.46%, UOB, which slipped 2.49%, DBS, which dipped 1.48%, and Singtel with a 0.44% expansion. The FTSE Mid Cap edged up 0.45%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap grew 0.43%.
