The Straits Times Index ended 8.46 or 0.33% lower at 2,563.09. The top active stocks were Medtecs International, which jumped 12.96%, DBS, which fell 1.24%, Singtel, which slipped 2.08%, Thai Beverage, which remained flat, and OCBC Bank with a 0.67% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap edged up 0.22%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap slid 0.49%.
