The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 17.82 or 0.69% higher at 2,612.35. The top active stocks were UMS, which jumped 7.45%, DBS, which inched up 0.1%, Singtel, which grew 1.21%, UOB, which rose 0.59%, and OCBC Bank with a 0.22% expansion. The FTSE Mid Cap advanced 1.35%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap climbed 1.89%.
