The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 34.92 or 1.33% lower at 2,594.53. The top active stocks were DBS, which fell 1.5%, Singtel which dropped 2.36%, OCBC Bank which slid 1.41%, Rex International which rose 0.53%, and AEM with a 5.04% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap inched down 0.77%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap slipped 1.14%.
