The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 70.75 or 2.64% lower at 2,613.88. The top active stocks were DBS, which dropped 2.87%, UOB which plunged 6.55%, OCBC Bank, which fell 3.23%, Singtel which inched down 1.18%, and SIA with a 3.37% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap slid 1.25%, whilst the FTSE Small dipped 1.33%.
