CMT hands out rental waivers to SME tenants

CapitaLand Mall Trust (CMT) will grant rental waivers for June to their SME tenants, pursuant to the passing of the COVID-19 (Temporary Measures) Amendment Bill, an SGX filing revealed. The rental waivers granted to date will form part of government-mandated support, subject to notification by the Inland Revenue Authority of Singapore as to the eligibility of such tenants, as well as fulfilment of such other criteria as may be prescribed under the Bill. read more
