The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 96.36 or 3.44% lower at 2,704.21. The top active stocks were UOB, which slipped 2.42%, DBS which dipped 3.95%, Singtel, which inched down 3.02%, OCBC Bank which slid 3.39%, and ComfortDelGro with a 3.68% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap fell 3.13%, whilst the FTSE Small dropped 3.34%.
