A Sydney to Brisbane bus tour cost $226 in 1975 or more than a week's pay

Ansett Pioneer in August 1975 was offering two-day bus trips from Sydney to Brisbane for $63, or 40 per cent of an average salary. A nine-day tour cost $226 back when Queensland's border wasn't closed.
