NEA to release harmless Wolbachia-Aedes mosquitoes in 3 areas in project to curb dengue

SINGAPORE — The National Environment Agency (NEA) will expand the release of male Wolbachia-carrying Aedes aegypti (Wolbachia-Aedes) mosquitoes to selected dengue high-risk neighbourhoods at Choa Chu Kang, Keat Hong and Hong Kah North in May through an ongoing project.
