Daily Markets Briefing: STI up 0.34%

Submitted By:  Staff Reporter Case Study:  No DBS led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 0.66% expansion. The Straits Times Index (STI) ended 8.67 or 0.34% higher at 2,572.36. The top active stocks were DBS, which inched up 0.66%, SIA, which dipped 0.67%, Singtel, which edged up 0.37%, UOB, which increased 0.45%, and OCBC Bank with a 0.34% expansion. The FTSE Mid Cap rose 0.84% whilst the FTSE Small Cap grew 1.54%.
