It's no secret that Australian wildlife runs the gamut of alien, to huge, to venomous, to dangerous, to huge again, to just plain freaky. It's a good reminder that most of us don't have to check our shoes for snakes, or run the risk of stepping on a spider that's so big it should pay rent.
