Trying times call for additional giving.  This year, Giving Tuesday, the global generosity movement known best for its day of charitable giving hosted on the first Tuesday after Thanksgiving, has expanded its reach, adding an additional day of giving to its docket.  Consequently, May 5 now marks Giving Tuesday Now, a global day of giving launched as an emergency response to the dire need spurred by the coronavirus pandemic.  Asha Curran, the CEO of GivingTuesday, notes that while Giving Tuesday has never been activated in response to a crisis since its inception in 2012, all of the same principles behind the movement are still driving its current rollout.  Read more...More about Charity, Social Good, Donations, Giving Tuesday, and Coronavirus Aid
