Steve Carell tries to cope in Netflix's hopelessly chaotic 'Space Force' trailer

General Mark R. Naird is in for an intergalactic shit show. In Netflix's first trailer for Space Force, a new workplace comedy from The Office star Steve Carell and Parks and Rec co-creator Greg Daniels, Carell plays a four-star Air Force general tasked with heading up the United States' sixth military branch. It would be the crowning achievement of Naird's spectacular service career — if the branch he was leading wasn't freakin' Space Force.   Based on Donald Trump's multi-billion dollar defense initiative, Space Force will chronicle Naird's efforts to motivate his team of doubting and discouraged crew members towards the final frontier.
