Daily Markets Briefing: STI down 4.73%

Submitted By:  Shaina Teope Case Study:  No OCBC Bank saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 4.83% contraction. The Straits Times Index ended 114.62 or 4.73% lower at 2,311.00. The top active stocks were DBS, which fell 2.79%, Singtel, which dropped 4.45%, UOB, which slumped 4.43%, OCBC Bank, which declined 4.83%, and SGX with a 3.47% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap dropped 6.28% whilst the FTSE Small Cap crashed 10.52%.
