Drug being used to treat flu in Japan is 'clearly effective', Chinese officials say

Avigan, also known as Favipiravir, has been effective, with no obvious side-effects, in helping patients recover from the deadly coronavirus, Zhang Xinmin, a Chinese official said yesterday.
