Federal Judge Finds Food Stamp Restrictions ‘Likely Unlawful’ And Blocks Implementation

In an opinion mentioning the global pandemic coronavirus, a federal court has temporarily blocked implementation of new food stamp rules. If the rules were to take effect, an estimated 700,000 recipients would lose access to food stamp benefits.
