Norwegian Goes Local, Announces 85% Flight Cancelations And 7,300 Layoffs Because Of COVID-19

In response to the COVID-19 crisis, Norwegian Air Service, which fought to establish the long-haul low-cost model, has followed the lead of other Nordic carriers, SAS and Finnair, announcing that it will suspend 85% of its flights and layoff about 90% of its workforce—7,300 staff.
