Daily Markets Briefing: STI down 1.9%

Submitted By:  Shaina Teope Case Study:  No YZJ Shipbuilding led the gains amongst top active stocks with a 5.23% expansion. The Straits Times Index ended 57.29 or 1.9% lower at 2,960.98. The top active stocks were DBS, which fell 2.54%, UOB, which slid 2.28%, OCBC Bank, which dropped 2.02%, Singtel, which inched down 1.34%, and YZJ Shipbuilding with a 5.23% rise. The FTSE Mid Cap dipped 0.88% whilst the FTSE Small Cap slipped 1.49%.
