Reunited: Missing Cat Returned Home After 11 Years On The Streets

We cannot stress this enough -- please microchip your pets! Thankfully, Eve McDonnell did microchip your beloved cat, Missy. 11 years ago, Missy escaped from McDonnell's car and despite searching for her -- she was never found. Until now! Residents nearby noticed a cat living amongst rubbish and were able to capture and take her into a local rescue center where they discovered she was microchipped! You can imagine Ms McDonnell's surprise to receive a call that her cat from 11 years ago (and now 17-years-old) is alive and well! Story via BBC News
