Amazon has better MacBook deals than Best Buy's Presidents Day sale

If you missed Feb. 17's Presidents Day sales, we don't blame you — most people associate such holidays with deals on mattresses, furniture, and whatever other products local TV commercials can fit into 30 seconds. But tech retailers have been going hard on these long weekend sales over the past few years. Best Buy was one of Presidents Day 2020's biggest participants, offering $200 off nearly all MacBook models. Most are gone by now, but Amazon has since one-upped them: You can take $300 off the 2019 13-inch MacBook Pro (i5, 512 GB) or $300 off the 2019 16-inch MacBook Pro (i9, 1TB).
