There seems to be this idea that dogs are the pets who cause all the pawndemonium in the house, while cats just lazy around, clean themselves, and do nothing all day long. For the most part, that perception is correct. Cats really are lazy. But sometimes - oh lawd - sometimes, cats cause more mischief than any animal in the world. From cats' random bursts of energy in the middle of the night, to someone climbing inside of our couches and giving us heart attacks while we look for them - they might be active for short periods during the day, but they make sure to be the biggest jerks possible when they are awake to make up for it. Of course, we love them because of it. Life would be boring without our cats barreling across our stomachs at 3 a.m. every night. What kind of crazy person out there wants a full night's sleep anyway?
