Top Glove saw the sharpest decline amongst top active stocks with a 12.33% contraction.
The Straits Times Index ended 4.37 or 0.17% lower at 2,500.78.
The top active stocks were DBS, which slid 1.33%, Wilmar International, which grew 1.16%, Top Glove, which dropped 12.33%, Singtel, which rose 0.45%, and OCBC Bank with a 0.35% contraction.
The FTSE Mid Cap edged up 0.39%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap dipped 0.16%.
