The Straits Times Index ended 19.32 or 0.78% higher at 2,505.15. The top active stocks were DBS, which slid 0.3%, Wilmar International, which advanced 3.12%, Sembcorp Industries, which jumped 8.94%, YZJ Shipbuilding SGD, which grew 1.02% and UOB with a 0.62% contraction. The FTSE Mid Cap rose 0.96%, whilst the FTSE Small Cap edged up 0.58%.
