Bear's Head Stuck In Plastic Container, Wisconsin Family Rescues It

Wow, this is not only heroic but pretty bad*ss! When the Hurt family came across what they thought to be a dog floating in the water at Marsh-Miller Lake, Wisconsin, they discovered something a bit more unusual. Out in the water on a boat, the Hurt family noticed there was a bear in the lake, with a bucket stuck on its head. "I said, 'That ain't no dog. I think that's a bear,'" Tricia Hurt told the Milwaukee Journal Sentinel. "We got closer and I said, 'Yeah, that's a bear that got hungry and got its head stuck in a bucket.'"Apparently, it was a young black bear who was struggling to breathe with a plastic cheese ball container around its head! "We honestly believe if we hadn't run into that bear, it wouldn't have made it to shore," Tricia Hurt said. "It was so disoriented, it didn't know where shore was and it was so tired." Brian Hurt commented saying he could hear the bear heavily breathing as the bucket filled with water. Luckily, he swam across the right people. The Hurt family ran a successful rescue mission! After circling the bear, Brian Hurt finally managed to grab the plastic container and yank it off. Finally free and able the bear, the bear swam away. Tricia Hurt filmed the whole experience and could be heard shouting, "Swim happy!," as the bear swam away. Thank you so much, Hurts Family! You guys are true heroes!
