Uber CEO downplays murder of Jamal Khashoggi as 'mistake,' then backtracks

After saying that murder of Washington Post journalist Jamal Khashoggi by Saudi Arabian operatives was a "mistake," Uber CEO Dara Khosrowshahi is trying to save face.  "That government said that they made a mistake ... It's a serious mistake," Khosrowshahi said during an interview on Axios on HBO in an answer to a question about Khashoggi's murder, and whether it impacted his decision to skip Saudi Arabia's annual investment conference afterwards.  "We've made mistakes, too, right, with self-driving ... and we're recovering from that mistake.
