USC WR Joseph Lewis Arrested on Domestic Violence Charge, Suspended by Team

USC freshman wide receiver Joseph Lewis was arrested Monday on a domestic violence charge.  According to the Los Angeles Times' Shotgun Spratling, Lewis' bail has been set at $50,000 after the LAPD booked him on suspicion of corporal injury on a spouse or cohabitant.  Lewis has since been suspended by the program.  "USC takes all reports of domestic abuse seriously and is cooperating fully with the law enforcement investigation," the school said in a statement issued to 247Sports' Chris Trevino. "While this student code of conduct issue is being investigated, the student has been suspended from all football-related activities. Student disciplinary records and student conduct proceedings are confidential at USC and protected by law."                    This article will be updated to provide more information on this story as it becomes available.
